Makes me nervous to leave Claire with DH in 1.5 months for my sisters bridal shower/bachelorette party. I will be away from her for 8 hours or so (pumping while away, of course) and afraid she will refuse my milk in the bottle again. Do I keep trying now? Or do I just leave it be and hope if she is hungry enough, that she will take the bottle?:(
we have the same bottles :) and so cute
as for bottles just leave it be, she wont starve she will eat that day when she gets hungry enough or just wait till you get home and nurse non stop then
have dh give her a bottle a couple times to see how it goes. get him and her used to each other during feeding time. Have him cuddle her close like she is when she nurses and she will take it if she is hungry.
actually that is bad advice, when bottle feeding baby needs to be held upright and away from the body and burped after each ounce.

Don't stress. Try and find a few times between now and then to leave DD with dad and a bottle while you go to the store or something.
I think baby is attached to me just as much as I am attached to her.

Just keep in mind that even if you get her to take the bottle today, and every day, she can still start refusing it at any time. We see this here quite often!

no not good, snuggling is a comfort and you want to be the comfort during a feeding not a bottle.
Quoting Demerise:
Eep! Ok! So no snuggling against the body while feeding from bottle? I was telling dh to do this, because that's how she nurses. Although, I was telling him to hold her upright, but snuggled into him. Not good?
