Feels like I'm engorged even when breast is empty????
So i am having pain on the inner part of my left breast. It feels pretty much the same as it feels when I'm engorged after my LO sleeps thru the night but I can't get it to go away. I've nursed him on that side and tried pumping that side until it's empty in between feedings and the pain still won't go away. It's not hot to the touch or anything (I think I remember my doc saying that heat is a red flag) Anyone else have this issue or know what it is? I'm out of ideas and SO uncomfortable

Glad you got it. I had this a lot with ds. Not yet with my 3 mo old. if a showers not available they make gel packs for the boobies. You can heat or refrigerate. I keep mine in the fridge in case I need a cold compress. Then if I need heat instead I just put them inthe microwave. Good to have on hand.
