World Breastfeeding Week Challenge Day 7: Reward yourself!
What reward you would chose for yourself for a job well done on breastfeeding?
We know it's not always fun to breastfeed. You deal with sore nipples, clogged ducts, breast pain, etc and sometimes you just need a reward. Here are some quick tips on dealing with sore nipples and breast pain:
- Moms recommend soothing sore nipples with breastmilk, a warm shower, breast shells, or a nipple cream
- Keep your nipples dry and let them air dry as often as possible
- If you continue to experience pain, see a lactation consultant for help improving baby's latch and healing your breasts

I Think if I could afford it I would go out and buy myself a new outfit or some great camera accessory for my photography hobbie, I never thought about it and I guess I dont really think of breastfeed as hard work or something I need to reward myself for, because I have never had any problems or issues such as, clogged ducks, mastiffs, baby not latching, milk supply issues, or anything else I always hear about. I had some sore nipples for less then 2 weeks and all i had to do is but some Lansinoh on them. I guess Im just lucky to have been able to breastfeed with no issues at all. My first nursed for 27 months and my 2nd is still going strong at 6 months.
