Im not sure i will be able to word this so i dont sound like an idiot but im curious...my dd is almost 18 months and still nursing. my niece is a bit older and has always been ff. when ff babies turn a year old, their bottles and pacis are usually taken away. my dd comfort nurses so much still. i just wonder what those ff babies do without that comfort suck. i epd for my ds for ayear but let him keep his paci a little longer because he just seemed to have that NEED to suck. i know all children have a natural suck reflex but why do we cut ff babies off and let bf babies keep on? (besides for the tooth decay issue). i really dont mean to sound dumb here, just trying to understand the complete picture. thanks!
