DD is 6 weeks old now and up until now. My weight loss from breast feeding has been amazing! I've lost 36lbs total but I feel like I've just stopped losing weight, even with eating healthy and doing exercises during the day.
Any thing you ladies do to help boost that weight loss? I still have about 50lbs to go before getting to a good weight. I was overweight before my last baby and on top of it had gestational diabetes so I'm trying my best to manage 3 kids, nursing a 6 weeks old and everything else I do as a sahm.
I'd like to start running again but I don't have a double stroller yet and my 5yo won't jog with me (no babysitter either) so are there any tips or advice you ladies have for BF safe weight loss tricks?

Breastfeeding has done zero favors for me with weight loss. I work out on my lunch break at work four days a week and eat healthy/clean and have been steadily losing 1-2 pounds per week.

Have you thought about yoga or a video? Dancing around the house for a half hour is a good way to get your heart rate up.

Just keep eatting healthy, exercising and breastfeeding. No matter what weight loss plan your on, weight will plateau for a while then drop again.

Count calories, make healthy choices, go for walks, do workout videos at home, do your running when your husband is home, work on building strength using your own body weight (push-ups, squats, etc)
Those are just a few ideas, good luck!

I dropped half the baby weight naturally over the first 5ish months then did weight watchers for the last half. I lost just over 75lbs but it took almost 10 months.
36lbs in 6 weeks is a lot of weight. Give it time.

I do strength workouts at home while the kids sleep and it's starting to show a little progress in my tone. DH is a trucker so I can't really run once a month to make a difference lol

Lol, yeah a trucker is one job that won't work with.
Just keep doing what you can and you'll get there eventually! :-)

I stopped losing weight at 7 weeks PP and slowly started to gain again. DD is almost 5 months old and the past 2 weeks, I've been dropping weight like crazy. My pants are all saggy now, when they were too tight at the end of my pregnancy. I went from a 16 to a 12. O(≧▽≦)O
I lost my ass, though. 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。

I count my calories. Dh lifts weights and is really strict on his diet so we normally only have baked chicken or turkey burgers made in the fridge. Also I cook a crock pot of pinto or black beans and that about all I get to eat.
We breastfeed. And at least once a week I try to Zumba. Sometimes I can get in more than one workout a week and that rocks.
In December I weighed 195 that was 4 months pp. now I am at 169-172 (my water weight fluctuates).
I also don't drink ANY soda. I rarely have an alcoholic drink. Just lots of water and occasionally a sweet tea. But I try not to buy Large drink sizes anymore.
I am real careful to make sure my diet includes enough calories to keep lactation going.
