Am I done pumping?

My 10.5 month old son has refused his pumped milk this last week since I have started full-time school again. I am gone two days a week almost all day, and 2-4 hours the other three weekdays. I only give him milk on my long days, since he can snack and drink water from a sippy on my short days. He nurses great when I come home, and he is reverse cycling at night so I know he's getting enough.

When can I stop pumping? Can babies go on a pumped milk strike? Should I keep trying to give him pumped milk?

I think that since he is refusing the milk and is so close to a year it is safe to stop pumping for him.

Assuming he's growing well, no weight issues, etc I think he'll be fine without. You might give it a week and keep offering, trying different cups out, but I'm sure he'll be a-ok :-)

My dd reverse cycled and refused milk at daycare for about two weeks...i started going to the daycare on my lunch break because diaper counts were getting low.....we ended up introducing the sippy cup at this time....it took a few tries to find one she liked but eventually she was ok....she never went back to the full amount she used to drink but she would sip enough where it her diaper counts reasonable...after a month of her barley drinking the milk we decided to see what she did with water and watered down juice...she drank that alot better than the milk and didnt care what sippy it was in

She is now almost 18 months old and still nurses like crazy when im home...i still nurse her on my lunch breaks since its become just part of our day...i have found if i dont nurse on my lunch break and she is away for 8_10 hours the she is attached to my boob the second i get home and doesnt sleep at night...even co sleeping

She started this all right about the same time as your little one has

When did you stop pumping?

Should I build a little stash? I only have about 15 oz frozen, and that's getting old.

I went down to providing 2 sippy cups with 2oz each in them for the entire day...they provided the rest...since i dont leave dd with anyone other than the daycare, i never needed a stash....i do keep 8 oz in my freezer no matter what for emergency use in case something were to happen....but other than that i pumped with a handsfree set up on my way to the daycare at lunch and aftetr work and that was enough for the two sippies the next day
