ites been a roughhhh ..i dont even know how long, anyone have some success stories to keep my spirits up?
My son had tongue tie, I didn't know until he was about 3-4 months though. I couldn't figure out why he wasn't latching right, my nipples ended up completely messed up :/ huge gashes through both of them, bled all the time, nursed him in tears everytime he nursed..I finally went to a lactation specialist and found out what the problem was, all she had to do was show me how to adjust his latch so he could latch properly. It started helping right away, and within a few weeks my nipples were healed and we never had problems again :) He nursed until he was 18 months, when I started working. I know how hard it can be and how painful, but hang in there! It can and will get better! I almost gave up, didn't think it was ever going to end, but I am SOOO glad that I stuck with it and finally went to see someone. Good luck, and I really hope things get better!!
