We are out driving for the second time tonight. Ugh.

What happened to my newborn who would sleep through the night too btw. She did the first night home from the hospital. And 4 nights a week other wise. Well not in the last 6 months. Hardly ever.

Im soooo tired. What is the deal. She takes one nap mod day and ot is 1035 here.

Help! Advise!

I used to nurse her to sleep. Now she will not take a breat at bedtime if she can help it. She knows what will happen. She nurses at night when she wakes but shit.

I really am tired of bedtime.

This may sound crazy but bear with me. She may be fighting sleep because she is overtired. Do you keep a busy schedule? If yes, you may need to take a rest day. I know my 3 LOs fight sleep when we have had consecutive busy days. Take a day to rest on the couch & watch movies or cartoons.

my daughter is 12 mos. and she takes 2 naps during the day about 20-45 min each and gos to bed at 8p wakes at 8a. does not sleep thru the nite, but i find that if she doesnt have her nap she is grouchy and upset and over tired as mentioned above- just stay strong and keep being such a great mama! and ur breastfeeding so your doing a wonderful job!

i dont believe in "crying it out" really, but sometimes you may have to let her??

That one nap may be one nap too many. OR too few!

Either that or the Sleep Gods are getting you for having had a newborn that slept. The piper WILL be paid, you know!

Mine was also a non-sleeper. I stopped doing things to try to get him to go to sleep. As soon as I stopped doing things and just put him down when he was tired, he slept better.

Sometime syou have to toss the clocks and the books and follow the baby.

I need a clock :( i have to be up in the am. With the other rugrat. Thanks for the envouragement though.

I may be trying to hold onto our old routine. It was wonderful to have a break mid day and a break in the evening. Guess things are changing now. :(

I think you have to figure out the new routine that will work for her now. It is inevitable that they will change things on us once we get used to something.
