Brooklyn is having her double Frenotomy done today. Any advice?

Update**
Brooklyn did great. Her dr talked me through the procedure. He showed me her TT and told me it was a pretty bad one. They had me wait in the waiting room while they did it and came and got me after wards. The dr was holding her and rocking her back and forth and told me she did amazing! She cried for a few seconds when I got there so I could see what it looked like now and HOLY COW! What a difference! We went into the lactation room at her pedis office and nursed for about 20 minutes (or tired to anyway). She is so used to the shield now and w/ my semi inverted nipples we still have a bit of work to do, but there was NO pain w/ her feeding at all. Which is fantastic. She is still doing good. Bled a little bit. I was all prepped for an extremely clingy upset baby today... Nope. Lol. She slept most of the day, waking every 2-3 hours to eat. I got a ton done today cuz I had planned to just snuggle up to her but she slept so well in her bouncer. Lol.
Also found out she has gained MORE weight. Yay.

Love reading these successful frenectomy stories. So often we see moms nervous about getting the procedure done, but the results of preserving breastfeeding and turning it around into a successful experience, are certainly worth it. :-)

Sometimes when babies have a "trauma" like that they just go into sleep mode. Same thing with circumcision. Totally normal. I hope you both get the hang of bfing soon!
