Solids and bottles?

I work full time and pump. DS is almost seven months. I have been giving him a serving of fruits or veggies in the evening with us at dinner time. My pediatrician says I should up it to two. That means he'll get a serving while I gone. Anyone have suggestions on timing? Should it replace part of a breastmilk bottle? Should my mom offer it between bottle feedings? Not sure what to do.

Solids always after nursing/bottles and really solids are only now for play, not nutrition. So what ever works for you is good.

Its up t you when you do it while gone.  Its not NECESSARY to give it to him at all, so doctor is wrong as far as baby NEEDING it.  Never replace a bottle if you do not have to, solids are desserts.  Make sure you nurse before solids when together and on demand when home
