Bfing to much with 15 month old?

I'm curious as to if I am bfin my 15 month old boy too much. We mainly only nurse to sleep but sometimes when he is super fussy during the day I do as well. But lately, he hasn't been eating much during the day and wants to nurse a lot at night. Should I be nursing him at night anymore? Do you think this is just a stage of less eating?

I think it's up to you and what you're comfortable with.

If YOU want to be, it's still the best thing he can be getting:). Pretty common for some toddlers to nurse like newborns if allowed...I still allow and nurse on demand:)

I am totally fine with it. I guess nutritionally is where I was concerned. But as long as it doesn't matter I could really care less.

Nutritionally, it's fine for him to nurse as much as he wants. At this point, it is completely up to you. If your good with it, then go for it. I nurse in demand until 2 yrs so mine were nursing every 2-4 hrs throughout the day at that age. :)

My dd is 15 months and she still bf every 2 hours during the day, sometimes more often, and 2-3 times at night.

Sounds perfectly normal. My son was like that and still has phases. He is 18 months old now. He can go days with nursing 2-3 times a day and a lot at night or not at all at night. It just depends on him. We still nurse on demand. It is whatever your comfortable with.
