We're expecting in December. Christmas to be exact. Anyways, he's very supportive of my breastfeeding, and open and willing to look into all my non-mainstream ways.. but he keeps tying to insist that he can "do me a favor" and get up with baby at night with a bottle. No matter how many times I try to explain that if he did that I'd have to get up anyways to pump.. *smh* oh well, I'm sure I'd wake up before him anyways lol

He can do you a favor by doing nighttime diaper changes! :). Maybe have coffee and breakfast waiting when you wake up?

He could help bring the baby to you, and sit with you and when the baby falls asleep he could be the one to put him/her back to bed or burping :) there are 100 little things he can help with during nighttime feedings. Bring you a big glass of water, hum a lullabye, rub your neck. Tickle the babys feet when he/she is falling asleep on the breast.  I even had SO sit behind me and hold me, and he supported baby while i fed. Gave him a sense of bonding i guess. My SO is very bad about my breast feeding but we tried everything to make him feel a part of it. He finally realized how exhausting it is to get up as much as i did, :) good luck, they have alot of information on helping make the father a part of BF, so good luck!
