Can it hit four days early? Abigail will be six weeks old Tuesday. Today she has been nursing almost all day. It might just be today but she is almost six weeks, so I wanted to ask anyway.

Growth spurts can hit at anytime... around 6 weeks is just a really common age.    They generally last 2-4 days.   Get some good movies or a book and settle in!   :)

Growth spurts can hit at any time. The ages given are just averages. Some have them more and others less. They can last anywhere from a few days to a week at a time. My second was in constant growth spurt mode for the first few months because the spurts were weekly for a while.
