Should I try to wean my 16mo ds when my due date gets closer? I am due May 27th and I know how important that colostrum is for newborns.

You will still have colostrum, even if your ds continues to nurse.  No worries.

Nope your body will just replace it with more until a couple of days after baby's birth when your milk comes in.

You're good to go. No need to wean. You'll keep producing colostrum until it's no longer needed, and your toddler will benefit.

What they said! ^^^ You won't run out of colostrum. You will continue making more until your mature milk comes in.

I didn't, I had plenty for both of mine. :) Congrats on the new baby coming!
