Well, he takes less than 6 oz (usually just 3-4 oz) when I have to work, which is from 7a-7p.
He also has to be cup fed since he won't take a bottle and just bites a sippy cup.
Is it normal for a babe to eat so little over 12 + hours?
He doesn't seem to nurse any more than usual after I get home.

It's actually called reverse cycling. VERY normal. They tank up when mom is there; they are VERY efficient at the breast!
Only wortry if you don't get enough dipes in 24 hours.

That's not fasting, its just not eating. If he's not losing weight or acting sickly then he's fine, he's made his choice lol. He prefers you, he knows your schedule, he's good.

Wow..He's doing great! my ds is 9 1/2 months and weights 18 lbs I would NOT say your DS needs to miss a meal but i will say there is no worry that he's staving

Yeah my dd did for the first few weeks but she would make up for it once I got home
