Is it healthy to breastfeed while you're sick?

My oldest has a stomach virus.  So far I've been okay, but in case I do get sick am I allowed to continue to breastfeed?  Would it get my little one sick?

He's three months old and I do have some frozen breastmilk saved up but I don't know how much.  I know it's a longshot that I'll even get sick, but just in case.... If i'm puking I won't have the energy to come on here and ask LOL

You sure can. It's better for baby if you do. This way if baby gets sick its already getting antibodies from you.

Yes it's fine to nurse when sick. In fact, you'll pass on lots of antibodies to baby and make it less likely that he will get sick!

Of course! If you get sick, give him all those awesome antibodies!!!!
