Is It Possible?

To pump a years worth of milk for twins, yes TWINS, in less than 2 months?

My aunt is trying to do this so she can stop pumping soon. I don't think she can get that much before they come home (around February)

But she's set on it. Is she getting her hopes up for nothing?

If she can pump about 389 ounces a day ;-)
(that would be about 32 ounces a day for each baby...and let's face it, that's the low end for bottle fed babies)

Even only 24 ounces a day for a year would require 292 ounces a day.

Probably not... I'm a cow when it comes to pumping and making milk... I can only get out about 20- 30 oz a day plus feeding on demand (when I was pumping all the time)

I guess all you can do is be there for her when it doesn't work out.

Yikes. Way to aim high. LOL

When she buys formula because her "stash" doesn't last, I'll just smile and clean bottles :)

Im younger so she would NEVER tell me i was right!

Lol, even with massive oversupply and constant pumping that sounds like a tall order! Just a few gallons a day...
