Work & Pumping Question

So I started back to work this week. I have a couple of questions.

1. Its it normal for one breast to pump significantly more than the other. Like double the other?

2. I pump three times during the day and get roughly 15oz but my son only eats 9oz (three feedings) while I'm away. Should I just keep pumping the same no matter how much he eats? It seems like I get one oz more everyday that I pump. Thanks for the advice.

Mine does the same because I didn't pump evenly. Add a pump to the one not producing;)

1. Yep. We're not suymmetrical. This is like being right or left handed.

2. He needs 1 - 1.25 ounces per hour you're away. You can keep doing what you are.. or not. Mom's choice.

Normal to produce more on one side than the other. Also keep doing what you are with no changes. I say this because eventually your supply will regulate so you will have that cushion if ever needed down the road.

Thank you for the info =)  I have a double electric and adding a pump while at work won't happen so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and freeze the extra then.
