One of my friends from hs just posted a pic of her 2 1/2 month old baby being fed green beans......wth? I just am appalled. WHY do ppl do that?! Her poor little digestive system. :(

It's bad enough that we hear stories like this but really awful when its people we know. FB pics always ruffle my feathers.

I cringe when people I know tell me... Oh I bet you can't wait until she is a few months so you can put rice cereal in her bottle, it was great for my kids.... 

I bottle fed my daughter and she still didn't start solids until 6 months and that. Was 5 has ago when the recommendations were just switching from 4 months to 6 months. I never even fed her rice cereal let alone in her bottle. She ate fresh food I "made" for her.

my friend did this at 6 weeks with rice cereal. I was so worried that it'd mess up her daughter's digestive system. I have been giving my daughter a little baby food here and there every couple of days sine she was 4 months old but she's still breastfeeding mostly. no formula (:

It literally makes me nauseous. We didn't do any type of solid till dd was a few days shy of 6 months and she is bf. She is almost 13 months and still nurses and gets solids.

I think my daughter was 6 months when she started casually trying baby food. That's so sad :(
