Found something more annoying than twiddling!!!

My second oldest tried very hard to be a twiddler but seeing how it is obnoxious (to me) I didn't allow it.

My current nursling has outdone his older brother on making mom squirm, he likes to fiddle with my belly button!! OMG! It's worse than twiddling in my book! Lol

My third was a belly button twiddler! She also did it to my dh and then it became her own self-soothing thing on her own belly button. For me, the nipple twiddling of my second child made me insane and I dreaded nursing him the second year. I guess it depends on where your sensitive parts are! I don't think I could ever nurse 2 babies at the same time because that sensation at both breasts makes my skin crawl.

My mother says her firstborn was a belly button twiddler, and one day she stuck the baby's finger in her own belly button and the baby was happy to use her own belly button from then on. My sister is STILL a fan of her own belly button.

I never allowed either. They drive me crazy! I can't stand anyone playing with my belly button.

Just like you stop biting or any other nursing manner issue. Stay consistent with not allowing it.

Hopefully mine is almost over it, he hasn't tried for a couple days.
