no but indescent exposure is....also, there are a lot of things that are not crimes, that still shouldn't be done in public!

It is NOT indecent exposure! Many states specifically exclude breastfeeding from indecent exposure laws. Besides, breasts aren't genitals, which is what indecent exposure pertains to.

State Breastfeeding Laws

Forty-five states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands have laws that specifically allow women to breastfeed in any public or private location. (Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusett Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Islan South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.)
