Starting to introduce juicing into my diet?

My MIL gave me a juicer for Christmas and I am very excited about it. I am looking to start jucing a mixture of fruits and vegetables. Since, I am nursing my 9mo old I will not be doing a juice cleanse, substituting juice for meals, or anything like that. I just want to add it at meals and between meal "snacks." My question is if this would in some way effect my nursling. I don't want to, say, drink too much and shock her system. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm also thinking about giving her some too in a cup. Any advice?

I don't see why it would effect her for you to drink but I wouldn't give it to her. There's just not much need for it, just give whole fruits and veggies.

Be careful as you start as you may get diarrhea. I also wouldn't give her much either as she would get more out of fresh fruits and veggies and may get diarrhea too.

Ok. Start slow and give her whole foods instead of juice. Thanks :-)
