Im all about moms doing what is best for their family and at the end of the day, i believe the most important thing is a baby is fed and loved.

My bff is preggo. I love her to pieces. This is her first baby.

She is always talking to me about nursing her baby but as soon as i say something about it....she has a reason to not to.

She keeps telling me how formula is easIer and her hubby can help more if she ff.

Basically, she has decided she doesnt even want to try to bf.

Is It wrong that it makes me a little sad she doesnt even want to try?

That would make me sad too. Also, I've done both and breast feeding is sooooo much easier than formula!

No that isn't wrong at all. I am with the PO eatyourveges...I ff my ds and whipping a boob out at 1 in the morning then agin at 3 then 5 then 7 and so on is sooo much easer then holding baby while making a bottle (holding baby so crying doesn't wake everyone up.)
If I had the knowlidge I have now with my ds she to would have NEVER gotten formula

It is sad.

Does she understand how to properly make a formula bottle? I don't understand how anyone can think its easier. Boiling water to add to the formula then trying to cool a bottle so it doesn't burn baby, all while baby is screaming at you.

My friend was the exact same way. I didn't feel sad, it's her choice.
