I was knocked out due to uterine rupture...and I still don't know how long she was out before I nursed. But nurses were searching for formula while I frantically nursed her. My doula was expressing colostrum onto a spoon from the other breast to feed her. She was suffering blood sugar issues. No supplementation was required. She was and is still a voracious eater.
