He was nursing just fine yesterday. Maybe a little less than normal but today he only nursed for about 15 minutes in the morning and now its almost 8 pm and he doesn't want to nurse. Is this normal? My breasts hurt so bad :( could this be him self weaning?

Unlikely.
Self weaning is slow and gradual.
Is he getting his 1yr molars?
Are you expecting AF?

Well he's been nursing less and less for the past 2 weeks..
And no he's not teething and I'm not expecting AF.

keep pumping so your supply stays up - it may be normal - it may be choice - or you may have eaten something he doesn't like. Mine did that! It lasted a few days. Contact La Leche League for more ideas and suggestions. KellyMom is on the internet, as is Dr. Jack Newmann, a doctor who has devoted his life to breastfeeding and babies!
