I had. We were so excited and had a ball using it the first few weeks. But honestly, it got old and annoying. Baby led solids is so much easier and healthier and way less time consuming. If baby needs purees, they're not ready for solids. :)

Yep. . I was all excited to make my own baby food, then learned about BLS and thought "why do all that work for purees then!"  lol

We did baby-led solids. When they could sit unsupported, had lost tongue thrust reflex, and could pick up things to put in their mouths, we gave them small, soft pieces of whatever we were eating. We did not do pureed--spoon feeding was too time consuming. Always nurse first before solids. Solids are just for fun until one year old or so.

I made some purees like carrotts and sweet potatoes and now we just give him little chunks. He enjoys that much more. But honestly i just got the GE bullet look alike and it works beautifully

Purees schmurees. **grin** I have a regular bullet and don't like it for too many things.

With baby led solids you never need to puree a thing. Baby eats what you eat. At most, fork mash. And since you most likely have forks in your kitchen, it costs you nothing!
