Well I'm officially a bf momma. I joined this group a while ago to get tips and all and they helped, so let me start by saying thanks. I haven't really been on cafe mom since I had my dd. Her name is Madison and she was born 1-12-13 which was the night before my due date, via emergency c section. She was only 5lbs 11.9oz but she's been gaining weight great thanks to my over supply. She does have reflux though which I hate but other than that she's perfectly healthy and just hit 4 weeks today. I do have one question though. Sometimes I'm feeding her and after a while my nipple goes soft and she can't latch so I have to switch to the other breast. Is that normal?

Nipple going soft is QUITE normal; indeed most moms have that rather than anything else. You don't have to switch unless she's already come off on her own. Burp and switch.

Yep. When she comes off on her own, consider her "done for now" on that side and swap 'em. Sounds like you're doing great!

Has she been tested for reflux or is it just based on the symptoms? You mentioned oversupply, which causes symptoms that are commonly mistaken for reflux. Are you doing anything to resolve the oversupply? Do you have an overactive letdown as well? Reclined nursing and block feeding usually help.
