How many weeks along were you when your milk changed back to colostrum? Dd is 17 months, I really dont want her to wean yet.

That's really different for every mother. Plenty of babies continue nursing even when/if Mom's supply tanks or changes. Other times moms supply is fine, bit baby didn't like the change in taste and weans. You just never know, odds are 50/50 either way.

16-24 weeks is average

I was around 12 weeks when DD decided she didn't like the change and stopped nursing. I didn't mind because she was 22 months and went down to once a day for the next 4 weeks. She then fought me anytime I offered after that.
