Nursing her is the best protection you can give; not nursing could be the worst thing because then you aren't giving her the tailor-made antibodies.
Nursing her is awesome for her protection. If she does get it, mono in babies/toddlers is NOT the serious disease that it is in adults. My oldest DS had it at 15 months 9and was no longer nursing). He had 10 days of fever and not much appetite, but otherwise he was fine. He lost nearly a lb from not eating as much as usual but gained it back quickly and was fine after that 1.5-2 week period of crabbiness. With her nursing, even if she does get it, her recovery should be quicker and she'll keep getting milk so she won't lose as much. :)
