my SO thinks that baby solid foods should be used as a filler after i'm done breastfeeding.
Is he right?
I hope that he's wrong.
His way of thinking is like this:
breastfeeding is the main meal but then solid foods should be a babys snack.
and he just told me that he thinks this because he's never seen it go this long before.
but he is trying to talk me into feeding my 7 month old solids.
my son isn't ready for that and neither am i

i'm trying to convince him that i don't want to give my son solids.
he thinks that he is ready for solids because he's crawling to me wanting to nurse so in my SO's eyes, he's ready for solids.

and he is telling me that "I don't want my son being out in public and watching him lift your shirt so he can nurse"
i say he isn't ready for solids because i'm doing the BLW and my son can't hold food yet in his hands and he can't swallow without choking.
