What's the average ounces a baby is to receive while mom is away? Isn't it 1-1.5 oz for every hour?

1-1.25 oz/hour fed in 2-3 ounce bottles every 2-3 hours.

Ok I knew that, but when I told my friend that she was getting kinda upset. She couldn't understand why it wouldn't be more oz as baby got older. I didn't know wht to tell her, haha! I just said" that's how it is, can't you just trust me? I'm nursing my 3rd kid."

it's because breastmilk changes to meet babies needs so it's always exactly the right thing. Formula keeps getting more & more because it's forever the same & never changes so it's not complete at a small amount.
