One of our teenagers has been admitted to the burn unit in Columbia.  She was pouring/playing with gasoline at a bonfire and caught herself on fire.  She has second degree burns on her face, and third degree on her chest and throat (DH wasn't clear if it was her neck or inside her throat)   She is on a ventilator, and drifts in and out.  She and her family could use all the prayers they can get :(

UPDATE 2/24: she is expected to come home this week.  The surgery went well, she has minimal scarring.  Physical healing looks good :)

Update 3/7: she has been home for about a week, I am told the scarring on her face is minimal.  The areas with third degree burns scarred more; doctors have her out of school for the rest of the school year so that she can recover and adjust to everything.  The whole family could still use prayers- it has been a traumatic experience for them all, and a big shock as well.  They still have a lot of recovery and adjustment.
