'Breastfeeding Myths Debunked' - You can hold your baby too much

Posted by   + Show Post

Today's myth is you can hold your baby too much.

This is indeed a myth. Studies have shown that babies who are held when their younger, cry far less and become more secure as they get older.

Some great ways to hold baby and still be able to do things around the house is by wearing her. Some great options for baby wearing are wraps, slings, mei tais and good supportive soft structure carriers-Ergos, Bobas, Becos are good options.

Babywearing is also a great option for dad to bond with baby, too.

Do you think you can hold a baby too much? Do you babywear? Show us a picture of you and/or dad wearing baby.

I was told by a family member that I shouldn't hold my baby all the time, and I should just let him cry it out. I never listned! I feel that by holding my son often he'll know that no matter what I'm here for him. Snuggles, boo-boos, whatever! As for babywearing, I still wear him. Moby wraps are too expensive, so i made my own with fabric from Joannes. He's so content!
