Is EBF poop ALWAYS supposed to be runny?

My 3 week old's BMs are not runny, but they aren't hard either.  She poops clumps of what looks like soft yellow bird seed.  Like it's almost purely seedy and clumpy looking.

Perfectly normal! They should never be hard as long as he is EBF. Hard poop would indicate food sensitivity or possible dehydration. As he gets older, he may also go days at a time without pooping, then have a major blowout. This is because breast is digested quickly with little waste.

I just remember my son's was always super runny while EBF lol. Kind of nice to not have the poop explosions.

My sons were always pretty runny, no chunks- just runny with curds. I was not one of the lucky ones with a LO who went days between. He's gone on average three times a day since he was around a month old. Sounds like its with in the normal range of poop to me though.
