Wake up at night to have a snack...it helps alot

The best thing for my hypo was changing to a "paleo" diet. I don't eat any grains at all, no sweeteners, and very little dairy - just cream and butter. I used to use cheese for emergency rations but I really don't miss it now. I've had no issues with my supply and don't get hit with hypo attacks just after nursing. I wish I had changed my diet 5 years ago when my oldest was born! It would have spared a lot of stress on my metabolism.

I just kept snacks around and snacked while nursing .
