they gave my 17yo cousins 2 day old 12 oz of formula in one feeding. Am i wrong but doesnt that seam a bit much for his little tummy. They mean the nurses in the nicu. He was born at 35 weeks. I tried to get a hold of my cousin to verify what the nurse said he ate but she didnt answer. I hope for the sake of the baby she misunderstood how much he ate.

One of the nurses gave my son ( who was 18 hours old ) 3 oz. I was pissed, mostly because he had 3 placards in his bassinet that said he was a bf baby. But 3 oz sounds like way too much to me, so I can't imagine 12 oz.

Maybe they told her wrong. Even the biggest bottles aren't 12 ounces. I sure hope for that babies sake someone's wrong. That's gotta be horrible if it's true.
