very strong, fast let down

Every single time my daughter ends up choking, gagging, coughing when i have a let down. This just starting over the last month. What can i do?

Nurse in a reclined position, baby on top, so that gravity doesn't add to the problem. You can also unlatch the baby when you feel the letdown and catch the milk in a burp cloth, then relatch the baby.

Kellymom.com has a lot of info on fast letdown. I'm mobile so I can't give you an exact link.
