Im not hurting anything by doing this, am I?

Abby is seven months and 5 days now.

I am waiting on solids for another month or so. maybe even two. I dont feel like she is ready for solids yet.

But she does have this cup that I give her water in occasionally. like not even an ounce and she will drink it.  I only give it after nursing like when she is sitting in her bouncy while I am taking a shower and needs to be entertained.

Giving her water wont hurt right? I mean she is past the stage when it is dangerous, correct?

I didn't know it was "dangerous" to give a baby water at any age.  So here's a

BUMP!!! :-)

As long as it is after nursing I don't see a problem with it. I bet more of the water ends up on her than in her, though, right? LOL I don't see how it would be any worse than chewing on some ice or frozen fruit in a teether net, kwim?

Yep, it's ok.  Still not TOO much, but 2-3 oz a day are fine.

Perfectly fine as long as you aren't replacing nursings with it and it's only a few ounces.

At that age, after nursing, and that small amount.. it's fine!
