Mucousy Poo?

DD is almost three months and recently had had mucousy looking poo. what does that mean?

My son had the same thing when he got a cold, it was nasty, I told the doctor about it and he said it was nothing to worry about.

Thank you. She had had a tummy ache today too which could also be caused by the cold

When a baby has a cold, the mucus gets swallowed and ends up in the digestive tract.

teething can cause it as well :) if its just started i would say cold or teething ! all of which cause extra slavia (sp) .

I hope she feels better soon, he had diahrea for a whole week two weeks ago and we still don't know what caused it.

my baby seems to always have that the doctor tells me its from the breast milk and vitamin d i give him.
