What would you say are necessities to have when breastfeeding?
What did you find useful to have?

A completely flat pillow. All my babies preferred the football hold & we used a flat pillow to lay them on alongside me. Works great. Decent nursing bra, a sleep bra. In the beginning.. nursing pads & lanolin.

Plenty of water! I drank it while I nursed. It helped with the "let-down"

A Boppy. My babies needed to be up high. Washable breast pads bc too go through them and, for me, disposables itched! Also ALOT of nursing tanks. Never really got into nursing bras but LIVED in tanks.

Someone gave me lanolin with each pregnancy and I never used it. Ever.

Lanolin in the beginning, and a comfortable bed to lay and nurse on, DD only likes to lay down to nurse, and I love it!

Coconut oil, big water bottle, and good book or your phone to pass the time while nursing for the 50th time in a day, a recliner, and I loved my boppy.
