Storage question

I have breastmilk in my freezer from september. If I go by the 6 month rule I will be throwing out over 50oz (september-october). Is there any way to know if it is still good or should I just throw it out? I hate to see that much go to waste when it is almost my entire stash.

Milk is milk--you can thaw it out, sniff-test it.  If it's gone bad, you will know, trust me.  If it smells and tastes fine it's safe to use.

Thanks, I'm about to make May's baby food and I usually use breastmilk to thin anything that needs it. Guess I will stick a couple bags in the fridge and see.
