We started in the hospital.  If she's hungry she won't touch it.  She doesn't use it much, but when she just wants to suck she will.

No, I outgrew them a few years ago. Lol

No, my kids would never take them. DD just spit them out. Sebastian chews on them for a sec then spits them out. I actually tried yo get him to take them, about 4 different kinds to no avail. He'll suck on my finger or my arm though. Lol

All of mine had them starting in the hospital, and they all gave it up on their own pretty young.

My daughter refused a paci or any 'plastic' for that matter!  But our son needs it.  He has a very strong suck and it was the only thing that would calm him enough so that he would latch on when he was first born.  Now we don't go anywhere without at least 2 of them.....

Yes, but it's because she won't comfort nurse often.  I always try nursing first, and if she doesn't want to get milk while she sucks she'll yell at my breast.  Then I'll offer the binky.

She spits it out as soon as she's almost asleep though and doesn't need it to stay asleep.

Dd did but I ep'd for her. Ds doesn't have one because he can meet all his sucking needs at the breast. Dd couldn't meet them all at the bottle.
