birth control

Ok so I went to the gyno today to talk about birth control. He asked me what I wanted so I told him something that won't mess with my milk supply and regulate my periods. He suggested an iud since I have a hard time with pills and we came up with inplanon. Until that comes in he has me on jolivette. Has anyone had any expierence with either bc I'm worried that it will make my milk supply drop. Please someone calm my frazzled nerves. Thank you.

Implanon uses progestin. Typically there's no impact on supply, but some women do report mood swings and continual periods from progestin-only methods of birth control.

If the IUD is an option, then look at Paragard, which has no hormones.

I literally just posted about the nexplanon (implanon) lol so far I like it the pros certainly outweigh the cons :)
