Sorry I'm posting so much, I'm a new mommy with no brestfeeding experience. Anyway, my daughter had too use a shield in the hospital because of latch issues and I contined too use it when we got home and tonight I decided not too use the shield. She is doing great and seems too be getting milk, she suckling and seems content. Is she getting milk?

If she's wetting diapers, she's getting milk. :)

I'm willing to bet, yes! :-) Is she making diapers? If it's coming out, it had to have first gone in!!! :-)

If you're changing diapers she's getting milk. The dipes are your indicator.

She's also getting it more efficiently without the shield. Way to go, mamma!

Hooray!  If she wasn't getting milk, she wouldn't be continuing to nurse and she wouldn't be content.  It's so nice to ditch the shield, isn't it?

What goes in must come out! So best indicator is her wet diapers.

If she's latched and suckling and content....chances are she's getting milk.

Yep, this!
If it is coming out, it HAS to be going in. :-)

If she has 8 wet diapers in 24 hours she's normal. Most babies will poop right after nursing as well.
