Insomnia

Anyone else have it? It's 11:45 at night and I'm thinking of scrubbing my kitchen floor or baking a cake, or both.

I want to take something to help me sleep but I can't because of bfing and cosleeping.  Once I'm asleep I'm still up every couple of hours to pee, eat, feed dd etc.  I have a horrible time sleeping.  I need to get on a regular schedule.  Right now I'm not asleep until 2 am usually and am up anywhere between 9 am and noon.  Dd sleeps like a champ, thankfully.

I've got the same problem. It's almost 11. My 3yo and 1 yo are out in my bed. I'm reading my book and playing online. I normally don't go to sleep till After the 2am trip to the potty. But my kids are up by 7.

Benadryl would be safe enough. Just be sure to stay hydrated.

I'm worried about the cosleeping on it.  Plus DH is deployed so I worry about not hearing her if I was out of it and she woke up if she were in a crib.  I think the worry about her makes my insomnia worse too : (

I never have insomnia, unless my husband isn't home. But you can come scrub my kitchen floor while you're at it. ;)

Hugs mama.

I drink warm milk when I'm having trouble falling asleep.

Good idea! My dad used to do that for me when I was little... I bet it would help me now : )

I do! I'm anemic and am tired a lot. Then, I'm wide awake after the kids go to sleep. I crashed earlier last night than the two nights before, but I was awake every few hours. Maybe I'll sleep a little better tonight. I'm pretty sure this weekend's bout was related to my period that started yesterday.

Def. Been suffering from it lately. By the time I get to sleep, baby is waking up to eat.
