Juicing

I *think* I've heard that not all juicing is safe while breastfeeding. Our friends just gave us their old Champion and I'm itching to use it, but want to cover my bases before I start juicing up a storm!

Just to clarify: I don't want to fast, just use it as a yummy supplement!

I can't imagine why it would be bad... Maybe if you are doing a juice cleanse diet or something?

I am obsessed with juicing and smoothies, and got into it when my youngest was almost a year. He'd always had a bit of constipation, but I think they get so much just through your milk and he was pooping like a champ as soon as i startrd juicing. He is now 21 months and loves his own juice or smoothie, and he usually gets spinach, kale, beets and a bunch of other great stuff every day.

I have lost 30 pounds just by adding juicing. In fact, I probably eat more calories each day now, but so many fruits and veggies. I love it!!!

I think it can be bad as a cleanse, b/c theoretically the toxins your body releases during the fast/cleanse would be released into milk, but I'm not sure...
