Clogged duct?

I have a painful lump in my arm pit. It's about the size of a pea. Is that a clogged duct? If it is what should I do?

It could be. You're not feverish are you?

Take a hot shower or put a hot compress on the area, express, keep rubbing the area, and nurse nurse nurse! I know its painful but thats the only way to get it unclogged.

Massage it, from the chest to the nipple, like you're trying to get the milk flowing.  ('Cause you are!)

Dangle nurse.  Lay baby down on back and nurse while hanging over them.  Massage from clog to nipple while dangle nursing.

No fever & not feeling body aches or anything. My armpit just hurts, it even hurts when I put my arm up. The lump feels small.

Nurse nurse nurse. Position baby so his chin is pointing toward the clog. This helps increse the suction.
