Breastfeeding, solids, walking, OH MY!

So, my little breastfed angel has started walking. He has been nursing less, about every 3 hrs. He gets breakfast, usually cheerios cause I'm lazy in the morning, and then a meal at lunch time and than dinner. Sometimes he might have a snack or two thrown in there somewhere.

I guess I'm just wondering now that he is over a year and walking, how much solids he should be getting. He still nurses pretty frequently plus he gets sips of water throughout the day. Thanks!

Thanks. That's usually what I do. He's gotten where he likes apples so I usually peel him one or two a day. And yes, he is busy. From the time he gets up until the time he goes to bed, he is either walking or eating...and once he's done eating, he's back walking. He never wants to sit still. I am so worn out. lol.

As long as you're not scheduling meals right after he nurses, you should be fine. I didn't know that until recently, but fortunately I don't know how to cook and nurse simultaneously.
