What is the ideal weight gain an EBF baby should gain a week?

I don't know that there is an ideal since babies vary so widely.

A bf baby should gain 4-6 oz per week starting from the lowest weight.

ETA: with an AVERAGE of 1 lb per month starting from lowest weight, not birth weight.

I use that chart..but remember babies grow in spurts!

Yep! A baby could gain 6 ounces one week and 2 the next and be within the 4-6 ounces per week average.
