It's a toss up between the bond and convenience. Lol jk.

In all seriousness. I love the bond I have with my nursling. I love the cuddles we share while nursing.

But breastfeeding is seriously easy. When I'm running out the door I don't have to worry about packing bottles or formula. In the middle of the night I don't have to get up and make a bottle. Heck I barely even wake up! On good nights I just have to lift my shirt.

Health benefits for DS, bonding-yes in my book, booby time equals bonding. :-) And convenience- always having a readily available food source at hand/at breast. :-)

How happy I can make my toddler but just allowing him to nurse when he asks...he calms down, sighs, give a full body relief relaxation when he nurses...that is the best

The bond if I have to pick just one. I'm a working mom. Breastfeeding (and attachment parenting) help me feel bonded and connected to my baby (and my almost 3 year old) even though we have a separation during the work day.

I can't think of a down side, lol.

That look of pure love when she's hugging a boobie nursing away happily :)

As difficult as it has been for me so far, it definitely beats having to get up in the middle of the night (or even during the day) to prepare a bottle of formula, warm it up, etc. I simply pop out the boob and she's happy. Not to mention all of the health benefits, and extra cuddles.
